Reducing it in the 2–3 hours before bed lets your natural melatonin rise on time, which supports earlier sleep onset and better sleep quality. (Daytime blue light is actually beneficial for alertness; these are meant for the evening.)

How to use for sleep

• Put them on 2–3 hours before your target bedtime (keep room lights cozy/warm if possible).
• Keep them on through the last screen time of the night.

• Not ideal for daytime wear if you want normal daytime alertness.
